The abadge CLI is a single compiled binary built with Bun. It runs on macOS and Linux (x86_64 and arm64).
The script:
  1. Detects your OS, architecture, and (on Linux) libc (glibc baseline or musl).
  2. Downloads the latest signed CLI release archive from GitHub.
  3. Verifies the SHA-256 checksum against the published SHA256SUMS file.
  4. Extracts the binary to ~/.abadge/bin/abadge.
  5. Adds ~/.abadge/bin to your shell profile’s PATH if it’s not already there.
After install:
By default the install script installs both abadge and abadge-mcp. To install only one:

Pinning a version
